I am starting my own journal..there are several things i want to accomplish out of this...to stop picking..to keep working out..and to get my self confidence back. I have started working out and I feel so much better overall. It has decreased my picking..but i just hope this can continue..i am getting married in may!!  and I want to have clear skin and a beautiful body..and I am hoping for all of yours support..i have gotten so far and I would not have gotten this far if I had not found this board! |

Well today is a new day..I find myself with a less urge to pick (although I have this huge zit on my forehead..just waiting for me to pop it..but i am trying so hard to be good) picking since last post..no!  my face is getting clearer..finally the meds are working! i am going to take my fiance lunch at work today..so I cannot pick or i will be so mad at myself later..have a good day |

well..i picked today..but i think it was a good picking ..is that possible...hopefully it'll heal up soon..i am feeling good..tired from work..and the i got school tomorrow..i am getting my wedding dress altered tomorrow..big day..no picking!

WHY WHY WHY..IMEDIATLEY AFTER I POSTED..I PICKED. ahhhhh i hate this..maybe tomorrow will be better..off to lather up with vitamin e cream

thanks! i always appreciate the support..which is what has gotten me this far...today is a good day..my places that i picked aren't bad..but they aren't good..hopin to recover..about to take a bath...

I am LOVIN neosporin..it is helped me so much! I have picked..but i have gotten better at it (is that possible) where i won't sit in front of the mirror and pick..i realize what i am doing and i try to quit as fast as i can..even though its like sucked my infront of the mirror. hope yall have a good day..off to help our friends move!

well..today is a good day..haven't picked..but now i have two huge cystic acnes on my face...just great..when everything was starting to clear up  i am going to work out tomorrow! yea for me |

Today has been a good day (not necessarily for my face) but I worked out today..so that is a good thing! I am going to my bro's hockey game tonight so though ought to be fun! My fiance and i cleaned our entire house..a clean house always makes me feel goood! But i am going to take a shower and hopefully my face will improve  ..hope yall are doing good! |

i think i am on a roller coaster ride..my face looks horrible! I am trying so hard not to pick..but its so hard when pimples just won't quit comin! uhhhh

not doing too good..my face looks so bad and won't stop breaking out..i go to the doctor on tuesday..we'll see what happens..

well i am finally going to do it..i went to the doc today and he is going to be me on accutance..i have to get a lot of blood work done..but i hope this will help me!

Hi Amylou,
I hope you got on ok at the doctors. I just wanted to say hello and tell you that I share one of your incentives for trying to beat this bloody picking! I too am getting married this year - though not till September. I also have a college 10 year reunion in August which I don't think I can face going to unless I sort myself out before then.

Thanks sioned! I am doing pretty good..I haven't picked today..and just a little bit yesterday. I just don't know if accutane is right for me..but as long as my acne goes away..i am a happy camper and i certainly can reduce my picking!

hey guys! Today I am feeling pretty good! I haven't picked in a while! Its just an up and down roller coaster with me! My acne is starting to go down..hopefully I won';t have another round..I talked to my mom about accutane and she pretty much flipped out..she doesn't think it is good..so if my acne continues she is going to find me a different derm. hope yall are doin good.. amylou |
