Hi Amylou. Love the journal idea. I'm going to do it too  Just wanted to let you know that I used accutane and had real success with it. I think its worth the risk of the side effects- the serious ones are rare. So many people I know have taken it with no problems. Goodluck to you today, love Bea |

I am sorry your skin still breaks out. So does mine. Sigh. It is so difficult to stop picking with skin that breaks out all the time.

amylou,
Sorry about your breakouts. I was thinking, maybe after a week or two on the same medication your skin is getting accustomed to it and is not benefiting from it anymore. Perhaps you could alternate your medications when you feel that they are not working as well anymore? I hope you're doing better.

amylou, i suffer from such constant breakouts too! ugh... 'i could so stop picking if my face didn't break out like this' -- my exact thoughts as well! it's like all the bumps are there to tempt and taunt me. grr... don't give in to them! |

thanks nelly and shihui..well i am doing alright..face is healing..and of course up pops a cold sore  ..last night i went to this spa thing with some friends and we got to try out all of these Beauti Control products..it was very fun..I bought a at home Microdermabrasion brush and cream..we'll see how it works..I used it last night and my face is unbelieveably soft! You are supposed to use it once a week..so i'll keep you updated |

thanks hoppe! i love the new products! makes my skin so soft and i really think it is helping some of my dark spots fade of course a little picking here and there but nothing too bad..i haven't had any cysts in quite some time...knock on wood..finally things are under control..still working out and feeling good! hope yall are well and will keep yall up dated.. month in a half till i get married |

hey guys..of course i have had a few picking sessions only two spots that are healing from that..scabs now..healing nicely..no new cystic acne! yea! been sick for about a week  so that has kept me from working, working out and tanning..but wanting to get back in the swing of things..my fiance and i went to the mall today ..to pick out tuxes and i went with no makep..YEA!!!..just hoping to get over this stupid cold..i have a very itchy rash on my arm  oohhh it itches..been putting cream on it and it still itches like crazy! keep in touch |

That's great that you're doing so well! Way to go on hanging out without makeup on. I'm hoping I can do that myself soon (perhaps this weekend). Hope you're getting over your cold fast.

thanks nelly! yea i am still doing good..my nose is peeling bc i layed in the sun all day with my fiance while he was fishing ..and forgot to put sunscreen on..but just putting lotion on that..still got a cold takin my vitamins and cold medicine! so hope to get better soon..worked out yesterday so that made me feel very good |

hey yall! just wanted to fill you in..sorry it's been so long my computer at home is soooo screwed up ..i can't get on to the internet and it takes like seriously 30 minutes to start up..havin a friend take it away for a few days..i am doing VERY well..feeling much better finally got over my cold..little picking here and there but NO more acne! my face is totally clear..there is hope! yall can do it! i go and pick up my wedding dress on thursday and get a practice hair do! still tannin and working out! i will keep yall informed! |

computer is finally workin! yea! u know it is always something! I got hit a few weeks and the insurance is saying that my car might be totaled whatever...finals are in a few weeks..ehhhh getting married in 1 MONTH!! can't wait to go on our caribbean cruise!! we looked at houses today! how exciting..as for my face..my period is about to start so i had small break outs.. but still doing very well really wish i could stop picking all together! |

I am sorry you are not completely pick free yet. But things have improved enormously, haven't they? I hope you are proud of yourself for what you have achieved.

well of course every up must have a down..picked very bad..at things that weren't even necessary to pick at..recovering..a lot of scabs but i am back to working out and trying to improve..thanks hoppe..yes i am very happy from what i acheived..but i am still not where i want to be! no new pimples..hopefully..but putting on the neosporin and even went to work with out makeup..not by choice ..if i put on makeup it would of made it look worse..but just trying to get better |
