Can't believe it's been 8 months since my last post.My picking has improved a lot & now it only happens when I'm PMT ,or very stressed & tired at the same time.Even then I menage to stop before doing a lot of damage.I've been OK with this for a while, but now I'm ready to make the final effort toward being totally pick free,& that's why I'm back here.

I have had this habit of picking my face since I was in high school.
Now I am in college and still do it. I work in nursing and have gone back to school late in life to get a BA in ART. In may I will be 60, am divorced, dated, but getting too old for this.
I have tried Yoga in the am and that helps relax me but the habit is still there. I go after the least bump, to get oil out, white heads and black. I tear off dead dry skin. I use vitamin E on my face now. Can't stop............help.

omg i have been threw this for the last 3 years i thought i have stopped i have gotten so much better im starting to try and live my life now and stop trying to get out of things and making up excuses because of my face and i washed my face this morning and there was dry bits coming off so i tried to rub it off and kept going and going now i have a big sore on my face and i know it will turn in to a big scab cuz i have so much experience from it and im so stressed out now because i am meant to be at school but i cant go to skool with this im so stressed i thought i have recovered from this and now its started yesterday i was talking about how im so glad its over and im free from it and now its started again.

can someone please tell me how to make your pimples not go into scabs so i dont pick at them like make them go into bumps instead of scabs?
i really need help its screwing up my life
