Your doing great! So proud that you left that darn thing alone! I myself am doing good, but there is so many spots that could quickly become a disaster. I think i am stressing out/over excited cause the boston affairs this weekend, and my sisters baby is overdue, and i can't wait to meet my new neice or newphew! driving me to break out/get the hive like things all over! lordy! but basically just touching stuff, so full flegde picking! how are you so strong! keep up the GREAT work! enjoy that spring break! -d

Hey D! Thanks for the support. You're doing great too! I know it's easy to get overwhelmed. Just remember, one day at a time.
Yesterday was another good day. I started to scratch at some stuff at my arm, but stopped myself quickly when I realized it. No squeezing / mirror / face picking. All in all, quite a success.

Just another progress update...
Yesterday went really well. Not perfect...I picked a tiny bit on my legs, but I didn't touch my face, which is my worst spot, and I stopped really quickly...so all in all, I'm pretty satisfied.
Haven't picked at all today so far.

WOOT!
Didn't pick at all yesterday or this morning. I just noticed a teeny-tiny bump on my cheek. I'm quite certain it does NOT need my intervention. Let's see how long my body takes to get rid of it on its own.
How are you doing, D?

a tiny mess up.... dont fret dear. you have done amazing. think of the progress and healing our skin has done in just these, what, 5 days? its really quite amazing. next week at this time, things will look even better, cause i KNOW we can keep it up! just try not to get over stressed, even though i know how busy you are! its a matter of pure focus, i know you have it.
on my side of things, doing good. today i have not really thought to much about stuff, just thinking about my nice little boston "vacation". i gotta hit up The Wrap in Back Bay and get me a burrito! and if thinking about a yummy burrito keeps me from picking, i am all set! oh, not to mention the thought of getting all dressed up and swankified for the wedding!
be good! doing awesome!

ahh! wedding was so great...well, actually i only made it to the reception...had to escort my little "i am having a hissy fit" 2 1/2 year old cousins child out of the wedding a minute or so after the ceremony started. but really, great. i love boston. picking so great too! i like didn't touch anything all weekend. last night pulled some dry skin stuff off a healing spot, but really didn't do any damage. so, we starting week 2? i sure hope so! great feeling to know you can keep going! -d

lol, hey D, don't worry about our convo!
Okay, remember you're doing awesome. Set yesterday aside, and focus on not picking just today.
Laziness is definitely a problem when you pass the 1 week marker. We must refocus!
I did well yesterday. I will be gentle to my skin today.

Heather... REGROUP REGROUP REGROUP! Ok, new week, although its Tuesday! We gotta get it back together. I am breaking out (well, minor bumps that no one but I can see that I feel I need to get at) like mad, and pmsing, and went at some darn like ingrown hair on my leg that has now turned gross. so, i gotta pull myself back together! hope you had a good night last night..... ;D

Okay, I just slipped up and picked my face for a few minutes. No real damage done, and I know I can recover, but BOY do I have to be careful.
Oh and one more thing...I'm going to start posting every morning about my progress again. I've kind of gotten lax about that. Okay, so for the rest of the night I will be gentle to my skin!
*one day at a time*
Love, H

Well, I am slightly depressed. Not cause of picking, I guess, but more cause I just balanced my checkbook. Darn it, another really bad habit. I gotta stop buying stuff. I will unfortunately not be online for the next few days (gotta visit that baby, you know!), but I will be thinking of you. I wish I could be online for you! We're gonna make it. My face is looking quite good, and I kept the spot on my leg coverend today, so that was good. Also left my scalp alone. Pretty good progress. I just watched Real World, one person is a cutter. Was watching thinking, is picking any different? Am i actually self-multilating myself? Sort of a sad concept to think about. The therapist the girl went to see said that you just needed to reverse your thought process. For me, i guess it would be to think about the end result before touching a thing. ok..to bed...i will be around tomorrow morning, so I will try to give an update as well. your doing great! remember that! -d
