OOPS!!!! Just wondering what kind of work you do and if you like your job. I am in the accounting field...don't quite know how I ended up here. I started out going to U of M, College of Engineering. Ended up working in accounting. I like working with numbers and I really don't dislike my job I just am having issues with the politics involved..... I would love to be a stay at home Mom and Wife but that will not happen with my spending habits I just cherish every moment I have with my family.

I am a freelance, commercial make-up artist. That means I do make-up for anything from coporate shoots to weddings. I do some fashion stuff and work with some modeling agencies around here. I am also a henna tattoo artist. I haven't really advertised it much this summer...so it's not been super-busy. But that's ok, I still have the skills and I kinda like to keep it to myself. Nothing worse than working a festival with a bunch of drunks!
When I am not freelancing...I am a stay-at-home mom...I started selling Avon on the side in January. I don't try to sell too hard...usually just friends and family. I am most excited about this line coming out in August, geared towards young women! It's so cool...make-up, skincare, jewelry, purses...I can't wait to get my hands on it! But I have yet to turn a profit from the Avon gig. At least I am saving some money with the discount I get!
I get a little bit of spending cash from the hubby each week, but when I want to really spend...I put stuff up on eBay! I am not as bad as I used to be...I was almost a REAL shopoholic. My parents are convinced I was! Fortunately, my husband is the fiscally responsible one...and I am the one who impulse buys!

I used to be a receptionist at my dads company but it drove me crazy so I quit. LOL. Currently I am enjoying life as a teenage slacker! ;D

I am a Director at a after-school care program. I like my job most of the time! It's pretty fun in the summer because we take the kids on field trips such as roller skating and to the zoo. I'm a 21 year who gets paid to act like kid (most of the time)! It's fun!

I'm a CPA with a public accounting firm. I audit mostly not-for-profit organizations. My husband, a software architect, only half-jokingly says he thinks all accountants have some form of OCD.

Oh, currently I am holding the job of prisoner at high school. Its a great job. Long hours, no pay, and I get to listen to people with higher authority drone on about how this will all help me in my future. Then I get to take public transportation home and hope that we dont randomly veer off the highway. Its really great.

oh well in spanish is "medio ambiente"... so i try to translate.. oh it sais only enviroment... well also u can call ecosystem.. the "enviroment economics" is basiclly to go around all all world makind economic analisis to see is a proyect is economicly good for the socciety and u see there is the utility( with monetary medition) is more than the expense (money medition again) so is like that.. for example u discovered a mine and it has gold.. silver and can gave a lot of money to the company and to the country...but is also you have to examinate is you contaminated the water.. and seee how expensive will be to cover medical expensives to the pple who lives near and will be affected by the polution and contamination of water And maybe cover their own late effects... (kids sick.. all this.. kids of the kids...) if is more the expensive u will pay cause the medical that the utility from ur mine (not mentioned all the jugdes... and taxes.... you also will have to see) is not economic available to do the project! cause the numbers are negative! so well i explain it better i think.... and oyu can appply that to parks museums.... zoo... and is very enterteinament! kisses i hope u understand!!what i said!! teresa

Graphic designer. Package design, brochures, web sites, letterhead design - you name it. Been with the same company for around 6 years. But wishing I was a rock singer!
Do I like my job? Today, sort of. Last week, yes. A few months ago, no. Tomorrow, who knows? I'm constantly in a love/hate relationship with this job/my bosses (I'm lucky enough to have 2!).

I'm a Targeted Case Manager/Social Worker with a County Human Services office. I work with people with mental health issues, substance abuse issues and multiple medical problems. I get them into counseling, get them on disability and just talk with them if that's what they need.
I've been with the County for almost 14 years and I just love this job. It's great to be able to share with someone that I take my antidepressant every day and get my butt to work. There's nothing wrong with medication and just because you have a label doesn't make you disabled. It's amazing how many find work when their funding it cut for one reason or another. The success stories make me happy and the failures make me cry. I love my clients and it's really humbled me to remember that we were commanded to "love our neighbors". It's a real growing experience. ;D
