Just wondering if anyone knows of or has heard of someone who was able to make a full recovery and lead a normal life. I wanted to find out so that I'd know if there's really hope for the rest of us who are struggling with it.

I've heard of a lot of people who've become symptom less obsessive compulsives. I don't think I've heard of symptom less skin pickers in particular, but that doesn't matter because it's still an obsessive compulsive condition. I've heard of people way worse off than us who've become symptom less, so there is hope.

I can tell you for a fact. as you guys know, I've been avidly researching skin picking and I've read multiple studies done by researchers and psychiatrists on CSP. The most recent one I read talked about three success stories of people who picked their skin and were treated with cognitive-behavioral therapy. All made a full recovery within a month and a half and when they had a follow-up appointment months later, those people were still pick-free.
It can happen!!
