sorry didn't log it
i'm going online, can't go to actual one, can't leave the house
follow up of wound on cheek: i guess you were right it was infected by further touching it and making it so so so big. biggest i have ever had my left side blew up, it go swollen it started with lower jaw at night woke up with whole side swollen my lower eyelid swelled so much
my father drove me to the doctor i put ice and they gave me ice and sent me to their surgery dep cause they don't have derm department
they gave me super hight dose of doxycycline
maybe i should have gone to derm? its good though, but i have to eat a lot of yogurt
i put gauze on it
can you believe as soon as my mother went out the door i looked at it and touched a bit
it will take a lot of training to become normal after this has started
life is taunting me and i'm taunting all the people around me with my illness: going trough the process of getting credentialed for a job, and another just called saying they desperately need someone. look at me i can't get out of the house and i have opportunities. i posponed til next week the offer where they need someone, and told the one cert for now that i got a rash that got infected. so far they are still willing to wait for me. i am cruel to myself and the people that depend on me
its really finding our self worth and realizing our thoughts are irrational
i actually posted something earlier the 10 attributes of ocd where it said don't follow your intuition

Anon,
I know exactly how you feel. I've had my face swell up like that, God, I know how you feel. I've missed countless opportunities due to this disease. It's so crazy, when you get a wound like that, the best thing you can do is forget about it, to let go of it, but how are you suppose to ignore pain like that? I quite my job the other day because I was afraid to go in because I felt like my face was messed up. I have a problem. Its consumed our lives, we have to get well.

Anon, One time I swole up the entire left side of my face, and like you I decided to go to the doctor. I didn't swell up my eye, but I made my lips swollen. I have swollen up my eyes, though, made myself look like I had a black eye, anyway, the biggest I had they put me on erythromicines and I could see a difference the next day. I think I felt pretty miserable for about a week. I didn't have a fever or anything, but I felt awful. You will be o.k. Don't touch it, breath and relax. You'll be fine.

They gave me, like 400 mg. dose of oral erythromicines, and told me to use regular soap to wash, not too hot or anything, and I think they told me not to put anything else on it, and no matter what, leave it alone. I still take the erythromicines because I feel like they keep my skin clear, and if I pick, which I have a tendancy to do, It won't be as infected. I feel kind of depressed right now because my body is getting used to them. I wonder what a cortizone shot would do for you. I've had a couple of those during some other biggies, and they really make a difference.
