Girls...I messed up today. <sigh> It's been a great 11+ days. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point (start anew? Keep going?) I need to think things over, talk to my dad and my therapist.
I'm sure as hell not giving up though. I'll beat this if it's the last thing I do.
Whomever is stilll going strong, you RULE!!!!!!
Love, H

Hi Heather you can skip that question but how bad did you mess up? you think it will be ok in 2-3 days? i remember you said it's not the result on the skin it's the decision to start to fight against a habit. I'm asking cause my spirit is always lifted when i see my skin is clear and not restricting me at home me too,am officially on day #1 again cause i hurt a few yesterday. But it was tiny damage now invisible Keep up the good work, you sounded ok in your post. You know you CAN reach day 11 now hugs and xxx Butterfly

Heather- Quoted from you: "In my opinion, ZT is the only way to go. But I want everyone to know that ZT isn't a test you pass or fail. You can't beat yourself up with every little slip up. That doesn't do any good." Remember what you said in the beginning. You may have set backs but don't beat yourself up!! You are doing really well, 11 days is great! Now go for 12! Good luck and keep your chin up! Carree

haha don't worry Carree! I am certainly not giving up. I haven't picked since the incident, and I'm not going to pick the rest of the day.

I too have been having a really hard time. I can see why ZT is the only way though. When I start to pick it doesn't take long before I want to do it more and start to think that I don't care and might as well give up. Again, it always helps to be reminded that you are not alone. No matter how many slip ups we have as long as we don't give up, I know we ALL can beat this thing. Thanks everyone, take care.

hey Heather, i agree with everyone else. and also, why start at day one again? we have all had little slips here and there, i know i have recently, but those eleven days still count. thats an AMAZING amount of time for a person with csp. keep those days on your list and just keep going. you're still right on with everyone else as far as im concerned. take care. love, rabbitmoon.

I completely agree: I had 2 slips, but I was conscious of what I was doing, haven't slipped into trance, so there is no way I am starting over - I am keeping on - 11 days. Of course, we will have slips; what makes it 11 days for us is that we have been doing our best to concentrate on ZT all this time. Our slips have not been the 4-5 hour picking marathons like we used to indulge in, but slips, so keep going everyone, it's 11 days.
