I would also suggest INOSITOL you can get it at any health food store.. It is used to stop skin picking and hair pulling, look it up on the internet my skin looks so much better with this and the pimple eraser product.

Thanks for these suggestions. I am definitely going to try pimple eraser at some point. In the past year I've noticed (I guess because of age) that I get hyperpigmentation ins ome places that lasts quite a while.
I've found that increasing the amount og inositol I got in my diet helped me with panic attacks, not so sure about picking. I should try it again and see what happens.

This seems like a good source of info on inositol (google and you'll find more): vitamins.ultimatefatburner.com/inositol.htmlI didn't take the powder form, though I may in the future. I decided to increase it by eating some more foods that were rich in inositol because I feel that diet is the best way to regulate vitamin intake, though this article suggests that if you really want a large dose the powdered form is best (you mix it with water and increase it gradually. It's supposed to have a sugary taste. Either the label on what you buy should say how to use it or look it up on the internet. Some threads on the boards in the past have also given dose amounts). I'm drawn to it because as part of a diet there's nothing unnatural about consuming it. I wouldn't take too seriously studies that suggest it's effectiveness against anxiety until there are more done and published in scientific journals, but it did seem to help me have less anxiety attacks. I think that good health, nutrition and exercise, overall may play a huge part in our emotional well being (it's known to promote brain cell growth) and we seem to take this for granted in ourlifestyles, at least I really did for a long time. Hope that helps, some

There was a list in that article. I was eating more soy (veggie burgers), oranges, cantaloupe, put some wheat germ in a smoothie or whatever. Things I enjoyed anyway. It's still important to have a good variety of healthy foods in your diet so everything balances out, though.

Oh, so you don't have to do it only on your face? I pick at my legs, and was wanting something that would erase the scars.

Hi guys, I am from Australia and we do not have as many options I have been having VPL treatments on an Energist machine. The night I have the treatments my face is burnt (I am a level 4 Portugese. Indian Origin) but the next day I have to put on make up to cover it up. Then a few days later where it gets dark it pells and the skin is lighter. My beauty therapist says that it breaks down the pigmentatiion. I have had 5 treatments so far at a cost of AUD $200 each treatment. I think it is working but I would love something a little less painful. I have tried Hydroquinone but as soon as I stop using it the pigmentation comes back. I have PSO. Any ideas?

Hi, I just had a cosmelan mask applied at dermatologist in Wilshire, LA area this morning. So far so good, I will update my progress of recovery and hopefully, it will be helpful for anybody reading this website. I had a laser fraxel procedure done last year and came out looking worse due to the side effect: hyperpigmentation. I found a great doctor who's helping me with my large brown patches all over my face. Prior to cosmelan procedure, he gave me a 10 % hydroquine, kojic cream to apply for a few months and today, I did the mask as he recommended. The 3 mask procedures cost $ 1500 including all the necessary cream to maintain the face afterward. I am asian decent, in my 30's
