grr the comp froze now i have to rewrite this..
For the past couple weeks I have completely taken caffenine out of my diet... and let me tell you, my picking has never been better... I have ... two or three tiny spots that i can think of... thats it.. It's good because all that caffenine in my system just made me crazy half the time. Also, I have made a huge effort to eat regularly and healthy... I have had the bad habit all my life of running on a 1/4 tank or less and I would just get witchy... haha so ive been a witchy picking psycho for years... yehaw! Well I still have my panic disorder but this helps a lot..... anyway i thought id pass this along and maybe you could examine your own eating habits and see if maybe its contirubtuing to some anxieties.. i know it magnified mine...

I agree that diet is a huge part of physical as well as mental well being. I haven't been able to ween myself off of caffine yet, but have cut down. I went to a doctor recently who suggested that a lot of skin conditions are environmentally based; i.e., that pollution and even plastic water containers contribute additives to our "diet" we don't think about. (He was a doctor of western medicine too, interestingly enough) He suggested doing a "cleanse"... ever done one?

hey daisy, good idea to cut out the caffeine...normally i don't drink coffee, soda, each chocolate, basically i have no caffeine in my life. but when i break the rules even a little, my picking becomes much worse! there's definitely a connection.
also eating regularly helps to keep your blood sugar stable so this probably helps your moods and picking. i'm a little hypoglycemic so if i don't eat, all hell breaks loose :-) i hope your new eating habits help the picking a little more!
