Has anyone tried Prozac to treat picking?

I ask because I started going to a new doctor for this and a couple of other things including depression. After going over my med history we agreed on Prozac for the depression and also because he has found that it has helped with the "tillomania's" (I have had problems with Trich too).

So has Prozac helped any of you and what was your dosage, current. I am at 40mg but he said it may take a much higher dosage, and we'll keep gradually increasing until it starts to help. I'm wondering if it worked for anyone here.

i started on prozac a few weeks ago, and i am working my way up to a full dosage. i was on effexor xr, but it made my picking soooo much worse, so i switched to prozac. hopefully it will help us with our picking and depression... because i know i could use it! ill let you know if i see any progress... so far things have jsut been normal, but i know that its not really supposed to start working for a few weeks still.
