I'll post a new thread. My mother is epileptic and went into a seizure yesterday afternoon. What should only be a few minutes has now been over 24 hrs. I took her to the hospital but the moron who has the nerve to put the prefix Dr. before his name ran tests on her med levels and then discharged her because they were fine and 'he didn't know what to do'. How about calling in a neurologist? I was at the hospital for over twelve hours, and the picking...oh the picking. I've torn my upper arms to shreds and my hands acually ache. I had to go wash my hands 3 seperate times because of the blood I had all over them! 6 out of 10 fingers the skin is torn beyond the first knuckle and half-way to the second. She's at home sleeping now, and I think she's beginning to come out of it. I've made appointments with her regular doctors because getting trapped in a seizure is very dangerous and could be fatal so we need to get to the bottom of why this happened right away. I have 'issues' with my mom I won't deny that. But to see her suffer, to have her not even know who I am, the stress has been unreal.

Oh wow Obnoxa... take care of yourself.. I can't imagine what you must be going through... but I know stress is the worst thing for picking... listen to some soothing music.. drink some tea... maybe that'll help sooth your nerves a bit... Oh, I feel so helpless.. PLease, keep us updated... I'll be praying for you and your mother...

Thank you both. I took some time to really pamper my self this morning after my shower I find that helps me to leave my skin alone a bit, my hands don't hurt quite as much today, but they are still too sore to put anything on them. My mom is still holding up well, she's sleeping alot which is a good sign. I'll keep you posted.
