Congratulations on 48 hours pick-free! For me that's the hardest part and then it starts to get easier- hope that it works that way for you too. I have used that specific lotion from Palmer's and love it as a moisturizer, but I really don't know how it works for scars- I don't pick my body that much, so I don't let myself focus on scars there- or I might do to it what I do to my face. Sorry I don't have more insight re the scars- hopefully someone will come along who does.

hi callmepicker, I like the pure forms of both and think they do wonders for scars. Palmers has mineral oil which clogs pores and does not let your skin breath...I found a cocoa butter stick for $1.49 at CVS and it's pure cocoa butter...Palmers has one but as soon as I saw it had mineral oil in it, I bought the pure stick...Vitamin E oil alone in the bottle is good, you could rotate each if you wanted to. When I was little I had a double hernia above my pevic bone and I remember my mom keeping the stick of cocoa butter in the refrig. (just because it was soothing)...and then rubbing it into my healing scar. Thats what the doctor told her to use to help with the scar. Peace & Love, SOS

I have read that cocoa butter is pore clogging, so I would suggest NOT using it where you are acne prone. I've been using cococut oil (Which is found in the cooking oils or shortening aisle of health food stores). This is NOT supposed to make you break out. I've been using it all over and I think it helps. I mixed some with aloe vera and jojoba oil and massage it in at night, and then again before I shower. it is a bit greasy to use straight during the day. It smells great! Sleepless

I've heard stuff about cocoa butter and stretch marks. When I reach my weight loss goals I guess I'm gonna have to buy a bucketload of it.
