Hi everone! I was just wondering if any of you have a skin condition that relates to your CSP. I have a condition called keratosis pilaris (which is very common, and yet there is no treatment). I started picking at my skin (basically all over my body) years ago because of these disgusting bumps. Does anyone have a similar problem? As if CSP wasn't enough  ! CeeCee |

yes i have that condition and the derm has put me on some creams that help, but you have to use it everyday..and it does help the bumps go away...

Does eczema count as a skin condition? I was pretty much born with it ... it's so itchy, which is a major trigger, and it's easy to spread and acne seems to sense the weakness in the skin and flare up at the same time. It's a blemish party!  |

Rockpants- have you heard of Aveene products? They are specially formulated for sensitive, easily irritated exzema skin. The skin soothing lotion is very soothing and calming and doesn't irritate my skin at all- and it helps it recover faster!

It's not Aveeno- it's Aveene- I don't even remember how I found it (an article in Allure Magazine, maybe?) if you do a search for it on Google.com it will take you to a site where you can order it- it's imported from France. This is how I find it everytime I reorder- I should probably save the site to my favorites- that would be easier!

YES,YES,YES! I am so frustrated cuz' its bad enough that I have this skin-picking condition, but then I have a skin condition that makes it prime for picking. I have icthiosys (really dry skin), which results in keratosis pilaris almost all over my body, especially my arms and legs. My doctor once gave me a lotion called LacHydrin but it really stung when I had open sores and now I have SO many sores that I cannot imagine using it so I dunno what to do. It seems like a never ending cycle! Just wanted to let you know I know where you are coming from!
