introduction

hello everyone! i am newer to this place so bear with me please. i am 40 years old, female, from PA. i have picked at my skin all of my life. i concentrate more on my arms, legs, and stomach than any other place on the body. i cannot quit picking and do it absolutely every chance i get !

i'd love to hear any advice or if anyone knows of anyone else with this condition and if so what has helped them.

Hi Wanda! glad you came to the boards. I think we all can relate. Check out the other forums. I'm sure you will find some helpful support and advice. If nothing else, talking about this in such an atmosphere where picking is "normal" just takes away all the embarrassment and really helps.
