Hi:
I have holes in my face mostly on the sides of my nose. My dermatologist told me that they were called ice pick holes and they were impossible to fill in.
I hope I have described it well enough... They look like what a hole would look like if you stuck a...well...icepick in my nose. They are not red. There is no scar tissue. Just really, really big holes...kind of like enlarged pores.
Do you have these....did you get rid of them?
Thanks.

Hey there,
I have one like that on the side of my nose too. i always squeeze it 'cause it always seems to become a blackhead. One of many. i feel like every pore on my body is a pimple or blackhead. probably exagerrating but it sometimes is so overwhelming...
(not so)smiley

ahhhhhhhh I have one of those also. My nose is what I pick at most. Like she mentioned, I always think it's a blackhead or a whitehead....so I touch it...I touched it about 2 wks ago and it's still healing. I hate it.

Hey I have one too Its from a long time of using pins and needles and such. Its too bad, now I have to expierience first hand the permanent affects of using tools. DONT USE INSTRUMENTS! I still do and I really hate it. I try to get something big cause I think it will get straight to the source but it just ends up getting extremely swolen. My parents and I found all the needles and pins in the house and I had them hide everything but now Im starting to use other things that are bigger, like staples! I get so much crap at school some kid asked me if I got beat up and it felt really bad. Trust me when I say its not worth the pain and humilliation. Sorry for straying off topic

you could hide it with makeup...but otherwise seek other doctors on options. They have things to fill in lips and wrinkles so they should be able to help you. Take Care Christine

Hi, I know exactly what you are talking about. Except I dont just have 'one' I have many, and they are all over my face, my chest, my legs and my arms as a result of my picking. I have been looking into dermabrasion, and laser resurfacing, aparently that helps.
Have you considered surgery?

I have heard that manuka honey is good for filling in the indention of scars, also collegen(sp) is good like some lotions and cremes by avon have collegen in them and collegen builders and they are there to help repair wrinkles but they can also help the skin reproduce at a faster rate and it helps build up skin tissue, i would talk to a doctor if it is bothering you or go to www.acne.org and look on their msg board they have excellent ideas for scars and people who are going through the same thing you are:)

Make up doesn't help. I have holes in my face from when I was in high school. I'm 25 now. Nothing will make them go away. It sucks...bad.
