I'm soo excited! I've been dedicating so much time to our theatre group (WET - Woodland Experimental Theatre) and we entered the CT Drama Association festival and we WON! It was our first ever festival and we won! We also hosted but more importantly, we won! Now, we get to take our show to Maine for New Englands! I'm so happy! All my stressing and hard work paid off!!

Congrats!! Maine's an awesome place. Don't let the cold water scare you away from the beaches. They're beautiful and full of life.

Yea. I'm not as thrilled to go anymore. We had a performance last night and our director ripped us apart. She said the show was horrible and that we should all be disappointed in ourselves. She made at least four people cry. She's evil. No one wants to go to Maine now because we know it will just be worse and more stressful up there. She kept saying how props were missing and that there was no excuse why I shouldn't have had them where they were supposed to be. Our Tech Director hugged me and reassured me that it would be okay. He's a good guy. At least he's sane, unlike our director. She told the lead that he was getting a big ego and that he was selfish, which is untrue. He did HAVE a big ego but he's getting so much better and she never compliments him on the good work he does. It just pisses me off.

Hey Incubabe, I don't know if you agree, but I've seen directors do this sort of thing before. Just before a big event, they harshly criticize. I've also seen it motivate the cast and staff work even harder to prove the director wrong afterwards. So, maybe it's meant to motivate.
Break a leg!

Possibly. But if it weren't for our awesome tech director, we probably would have walked off a cliff.
