I am 20 years old and I am a student at the University of Florida. I live in a really small town that doesn't even have a Baskin Robbins...what a shame. I live in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend, we'll be celebrating our one year anniversary very soon. my boyfriend is about two years younger than me (!!!) and he's planning to go to law school. Right now I'm pursuing a degree in marketing but I'm planning to go to grad school get my PhD in psychology so I can become a psychologist and maybe even specialize in OCD and CSP...I'll put our disorder on the map!
I work at a publishing company as a marketing intern. for fun, my boyfriend and i love to shop. we watch a lot of movies and go through pints of ice cream. i love going to new york and i'm visiting my best friend who lives up there in a few weeks. i also love going to the beach, reading, cooking, and photography.
my family lives about two and ahalf hours away so i visit them when i get a chance. we are close sometimes, but we've been going through tough times lately...my dad is living in new jersey b/c it was the only place he could find a job. my mom, who was a stay at home mom her entire life, just got a job so she keep the family afloat. and my brother is moving to new york, he was accepted to the tisch school at nyu. its like we are all moving in our own directions but we don't all keep in touch very much.
well that's me, or at least that's the concise version :-)

Hi..i'm the new girl. I'm 35 and live about 80 miles outside of NYC. I am a residential program coordinator for 10 autistic children. I come from a genuine dysfunctional family. Much of my picking I got from my mom......both from watching her do it and because she is a major contributing factor to why I do it. I have no man in my life and have stopped searching hoping that if I do, he will just appear to me.....I believe in fairy tales. I own my own home which I love to work on, i have the best cat, i love to read and do crosswords, and my friends think i am the funniest thing alive (tears of a clown). I recently graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh NY after an almost 10 year gap in my educational career. I have a housemate that i love having around. She's a lot like me when i was her age (23), except she is more sure of herself and determined to stay true to herself. most of my best friends are at home in Elmira NY. about 21/2 hours from here. many would call me boring but the stories i could tell.......... i hope to make some new friends here.  |

I'm Karla...29 y/o, single with two girls(10 & 7). I also am owned by 10 birds, 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs & 5 goldfish  I work as a CENA in a long term care facility & am going 3/4 time to school to become an RN sometime this decade.. I run a bird sanctuary/rescue out of my home also...just call me "the bird lady"..lol  |

I'm another newcomer to this site, so this is good timing for this thread. I'm a 26 year old girl from a smallish town in Pennsylvania. I pay my bills by working at a big discount store, and I will be starting my junior year at Penn State in a few weeks (majoring in Business Administration, with a focus on marketing and management). I have been a firefighter for 5 years, and I used to work as an EMT before I decided to go to school. My parents (divorced) both live within 5 miles of me, but I spend more time with my mama, who is nearly blind and requires more attention. I have one brother, 4 years older than me, who has been 'crashing' in my spare bedroom for 3 years  . He is an awesome bass player, and his involvement in the local music scene has influenced my love of loud music since I was a teenager. I have been single since January, after an ugly breakup with my boyfriend of 6 years. No kids, but I have a weakness for homeless and injured kitty cats. I have collected 5 of them to be permanent babysitters of my 2 turtles, and, given the opportunity, I'd talk about them incessantly. I don't watch television, and I've only ever seen about 25 movies, but I read constantly- on all my breaks and in between calls. I wish I had more time and money to spend on traveling and gardening, but, alas, there never seems to be enough of either to really enjoy those activities (sigh)... I do, however, get an occasional afternoon to hike around the woods, get a drink with friends, or go see a good rock show. Um, I guess that's all for now, I need to get up for work at 7 am tomorrow... nite! |

Hey bean, I'm from CO too!! ;D
Anyway, my name is Lucy, if you haven't noticed. I'm 17 and live in Boring, Colorado aka Aurora, CO. I love to sew and design, and I want to be a fashion designer.
Right now I basically have no job other than making about $500 a month sewing and selling scrubs to nurses and doctors. Basically I'm my own boss for now.
I have one older brother and one older sister. I have 3 nephews and 1 neice from my sister.
My dreams are to one day make so much money that I put Tommy Hilfiger out of business. I want to marry a talented man with a great career that he loves, go to elegant parties on the weekends wearing one-of-a-kind dresses that everyone envys. Eventually, my husband and I would settle down and adopt 2 children from a different country. The tabliods will write lies about our fabulous marriage and children because they are jealous.
Hey, I said it was my dream!!! ;D

hello.......im ryan from CT, i do not pick but started coming here to find out more about something plaguing my best friend(see incubabe above) and wanted to find out more about what i could be doing to help her. Im 15 soon to be 16 in september. i play golf, basketball, and baseball. i play baseball for my school team that i am the #1 starting pitcher for.....i just like haning around with my friends, i have a job, but its yard work, so....its no technically a real job, but i get paid....so it is....neways....i like to read weirded out suspense novels and play ps2, i like serious movies, and im just starting to enjoy life again(thanks stef). yeap, thats me

Hi all. I'm Westiemom. I'm 30 years old and I live outside Indianapolis. I'm a certified public accountant and I've been married 10 years. I got my bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University (go Hoosiers!). I was born and raised in Indiana but in my 20's my husband and I lived in Washington state, California, Idaho, and Wisconsin. I really loved being out west but I'm glad to be back in Indiana. I had one sister who died in 1998 when she was 23. I have two brothers, 15 and 11, whom I adore. They live about 1.5 hours north of me and I don't get to see them very often. My 15 year old brother plays offensive tackle for his freshmen football team. I can't wait to get to one of his games!!!
I am the proud mother of two of the sweetest West Highland White Terriers you could ever meet, and I could talk about them ceaselessly!!! They are Princess, age 8, and MacDuff, age 5.
My husband just started a consulting business out of our home, so I help him alot with that. I also like to spend time reading and working out. I absolutely love giving myself pedicures, and I do that alot to use up nervous energy. I like playing PS2 - my favorite game is SSX (snowboarding). I like playing Warcraft on the PC also.

Teresa, 19 years.... 20 on dec 21... economic students... my bf name is Sergio.... we are toghether for a year almost he is a good boy and loves to speaks... he is 20 and he is studyng to be a sicologist will be 21 on october... lol i live in sudamerica... but i lived in italy for 2 years so i speak very good italian... also love to travel and i do everythime i can... i love egypt but is too hot! i have a sis who will be 16 next tuesday.. my dad and mom divorced 2 years ago. after 18 years old married well it happend... i dont know my mom´s bf.. i live with my mom and my sista i am not independent but i ma happy i have my own red car.. i love the speed i love fischicella ..... what else....oh yes i am a very good baseball player! jeje and i love queen!! kisses teresa |
