So, I used to pick my eyebrows the most during college. recently, i decided to get electrolysis to get the hair permanently removed so i wouldn't have a reason to touch them. that has worked. eyebrows are looking great. BUT...I have started picking on the rest of my face, including a lot of my nose, forehead, and chin area. ugh. It seems like a neverending battle. I love going traveling because when I'm around people and busy doing touristy things all day I'm too busy to remember and/or have time to go to the bathroom to pick....Now if I could only figure out a way to avoid doing this when i'm at home..

Try to stay away from mirrors, I use baby wipes so I don't need to be near a mirror. Find a hobby that takes a lot of hand activity. Often when I am away from home I can reduce my picking. Dee

I have changed sites over the years too. It used to be my back and shoulders (i am double jointed in one arm so I can reach places most people can't. bad for a picker.) but now it is mostly my scalp because it is easier to hide. I try to pull my hair into a tight style so that if I pick it will mess it up, that helps some. Now I work from home though, so there is no one to notice. :-( which means I pick more than i used to

Some shampoos make my scalp itch worse, health food store natural ones seem to do better for me. Dee
