hey guys, i've been picking since before I can remember. I am determined to stop; that is my new years resolution. Anyway, because of picking my fingers over the years, they are all red. What can I do to make the redness go away? I would appreciate any ideas at all. Thanks!!!

[glow=purple,2,300]i mostly pick my scalp, but sometimes i end up picking the skin around my hairline, and i get these awful bright red patches... i have found that rubbing in a drop or two of visine eye drops helps reduce the redness a lot. it works great on pimples as well. does anyone else out there have any tips?[/glow]

hi! I have found that cocoa butter helps reduce the redness and also if it is a raised scar it will help mould it back to its original shape. I bought this in a big tub and its still in use, so its good!! Also wheat germ oil is good for reducing red skin. Im not sure of any more, unless someone else knows!
