Well, my mother got very upset with me the other day for OCD like picking and gave me a red rubberband to wear around my wrist to remind myself not to pick and of my goals to stop.....
Now when I find myself wanting to pick, I just pinch myself w/ the rubberband (which hurts alot) and it makes me want to stop because I don't want to hurt myself or my face anymore!
Of course, I'm not the kind of person who picks their skin because they want to inflict pain (like cutters) I just do it unintentionally and because I find it pleasurable....I have no desire to die or cause myself harm, I just do it without realizing!
So, let's all wear red rubberbands around our wrists as a daily reminder to stop harming ourselves. I've been doing this for two days, and so far it's worked.
Let me know if you try it.

hey, i read this post just b4 and thought eh how weird,,i read that tip on another website and got myself one recently but the weird thing is ,,,its red ,,hehe anyway yea it does hurt and ive been mostly pickfree for around 9 days(one clip up) and had the band for about 3,any way just thort i'd share ,,,try it pple! cya nina x

thats for the idea i went and got a lacky band straight away (unfortunatly coutldnt find a red one but for now the one i have will do) i realy hope it works :)
