I have found that aloe works wonders, especially when it has medicinal herbs in it. It seems to take the red out, heal wounds quickly, help keep scabs intact, and help scars fade. I use it almost every day.
give it a try if you haven't already.
love, Julie

I have to jump on this bandwagon too. Some fresh aloe healed up most of my pms breakout overnight (just when I thought I was going to go pick-crazy forever). Plus once it dries it makes my skin feel so nice to the touch! It's cheap as well

Hi,
Could you tell me what type of aloe you use? Do you use the actual plant?

I think aloe straight from the source works great, but I am using something called Aloe Vera Herbal Blend made by Nature's Life. It has some ingredients in it that are supposed to enhance the benefits of aloe. It does seem to work better. They even suggest on the bottle to chill it so it's cool when you put it on, and that can feel wonderful. Hope it works for you, too.
Take care, Julie.

Hi and thanks, Julie
I have used some aloe vera gel before but it had fragrance in it as well as other things so I wasn't sure if it would be as good.
I also have some VitaminE gel, same brand, it's not pure either.
I'll have to look for other brands and types. I am in Canada and I'm not familiar with Nature's Life.
