I don't look in mirrows at all...I am 57 and after all the years of picking this is the first time on my face...doing much better now. My Doctor who is just wonderful, told me to keep my skin covered at all times...when I catch myself picking or think about it before I start, to put my hand in ice water or get a piece of ice and hold it. This will cause some pain reaction, that I seem to need. But it will not hurt me like the picking...on the face to keep band-aids on each sore. That will gives me time to stop if I truly want to..I have found this helps me...but I really have to work at it....I also pick at night, I have not stoped that and will worked even harder on this one to stop...

Thanks for the suggestion about the ice or ice water. I just read it on another board too, and think I'll try it! Elsie
