I have had a lot of luck with benzoyl peroxide. I never had bad skin to begin with but I will look for any bump, however small, and pick pick pick! My friend said once, "It looks like you took a fork to your face." It's quite sad. People with acne, real acne, would love to get rid of it. Here I have decent skin and make it 100x worse by picking.
Anyway, benzoyl peroxide has helped SO MUCH. I put it on my arms, back, face, etc. (I rinse it off in the morning because it will bleach your clothes). Basically it has cleared up even the little bumps so I have fewer things to pick at. Also, it has helped me mentally because I know I am doing "something" to eliminate them. When I'm working at my computer, I keep my benzoyl peroxide nearby. if I start to pick, I stop and think "no no don't do it" and I rub benzoyl peroxide on the area. It really helps.

its awsome
go to acne.org..
there they have a regimen..
and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide for $8.50 and its safe for the face.
i think 10% is what u usually find in the stores...and that is ok for the body.
otherwise the only other 2.5% that i know of is neutrogena which is about $7..but tiny container...i bought the one fromt he site and its huge and not irritating.
only if i followed the regimen off the site and no touched my face...
