Hey, Guys! I just bought Nivea Visage Moisturizing toner to try in place of the Oil of Olay toner I was using before. It is WONDERFUL! Its scent is very comforting . . . it is alchohol-free, so it NEVER stings when you put it on either on your skin or over open sores . . . It's not greasy, yet cleans and moisturizes just enough. I found that I don't even need a moisurizer at night, like I was using before, because my skin feels JUST RIGHT after using this toner. Because there is no alcohol in it, it takes a little longer to dry on your face, but I love it. Because of the scent it has, I feel so pampered when I use it!
Actually, I have also stopped using my Oil of Olay cleanser too, and found that the moisturizing shampoo that I use (Salon Selectives Completely Drenched) is PERFECT for my skin, leaving it feeling NORMAL after I get out of the shower. So lately, my skin care regimine has been so easy and gets me in and out of the bathroom quickly, and with less cost! Here's what's been working wonderfully for me for the past month or so . . .
1. Shower, wash/condition hair with Salon Selectives Completely Drenched Shampoo/Conditioner
2. Wash face AND body with the Salon Selectives Completey Drenched Shampoo (no need for any other soap)
3. Towel dry hair, face, and body
4. Apply Nivea Visage Moisturizing Toner to face with a cotton ball
5. Go to bed OR (if in morning) apply Oil of Olay Complete moisture lotion for sensitive skin for the UV protection and to help makeup go on smoother
6. Use Maybelline EverFresh makup foundation (has sunscreen, it's oil-free, and REALLY DOES "stay put day-to-night")
7. I also apply a dab of Neutrogena's On the Spot Acne Treatment to any budding pimples as they appear (after the toner/moisture lotion)
So I only use a total of up to 4 products for my entire body besides my makeup, and my face never feels very oily or dry like it used to. Makes me want to leave it alone because it looks and feels so good! No more flakes to use as triggers, no more makeup settling into pores/fine lines, making me want to touch up and redo which always seems to be a trigger for me! It's really helped me to reduce the amount of skin picking I've done.
