Hey, I havnt posted for a while because things were just getting worse and worse. Its killing me- i really get sooo down and im sure everyone else does to. I am really shy and selfconscious. I dont have many comebacks and often dont say and do what i would do if i could. So my only way of getting out my anger is at home with my parents and infront of the mirror. The worse it gets the more i pick and i even do it to punish my parents-i sometimes feel that i need to do something behind their back and have something that is only mine adn that i can controll. But now i cant controll this picking- its gotten to b too much- so i decided i would get my anger out in a different way- by boxing- i got a punchhing bag adn gloves in the basement- i listen to loud music and punch adn punch everytime i am angry or get the urge- Try it- it really helps good luck to everyone

Hey, that is a GREAT idea. Exercise has helped me lots, whenever I get really stressed. But boxing, because it's more aggressive, would probably feel really good when things are tough and I feel completely fed up and frustrated. Good tip.

I normally do kick-boxing at the gym, and I always picture the bag being all my bad habits and everything I'm angry at, then I kick and punch and release all the tension, it feels really good!
I do believe exercise is a very important part of life, it's great stress relief, and it can be an escape, at least I cannot pick my skin while exercising!
Best of luck cattfhioc, I've never been shy, I'm the opposite, but I can understand how hard it must be to not be able to get the anger out! I'm glad boxing works for you!

I want a punching bag too. I think it would be great. Are they expensive? I'm on a budget, but I think it would help. Also, I love running and the feeling I get when I'm done. When I work out, I pick less all day and feel good. Good luck to you! ~sun

Hey, Yeah it really has helped. Exercise does relieve tension etc.. The bag was kinda expensive about 180 euros.. but i really think its worth it- I also want to try kick boxing and take some classes. It does cost but it makes you feel better about your self and takes your mind of your problems and the sweating is good foryou skin-
