Ok, I had a zit and I popped it. More like attacked it. Now, it is gone but it left a hole and for whatever reason I squeezed at the hole and now it is filled with blood and I don't know how to get rid of it. i want the hole to fill in and not stay, but i also want the blood to get out. If anyone knows how to deal with this I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you.

Hi Meg! I usually clean the hole with hydrogen peroxide to rinse the blood off and disinfect any bacteria and then cover it with neosporin and a bandaid. If it's on my face- which 99% of the time it is, then I keep the bandaid on constantly when I'm at home. Luckily I live alone so this doesn't require any explaining! Covering keeps me from causing further destruction and helps it heal faster. My derm also says to use retin-s after it has healed because if you use it consistently after a few weeks/months it can help your skin rebuild its' own collagen which fills in the divot. Hope this helps!

Hi Meg, I've heard it's not good to put hydrogen perxiode on sores because it scars more...just check with a doctor. I've had the same thing and I dab alcohol with a q-tip. I use aloe vera gel straight from the plant, I break a piece off and squeeze out the pure gel and dab onto sores. I also use whatever helps heal scars (Vitamin E, coco butter stick, merderma and other scar products from the store). I've found a wonderful truly all natural skin care line out of Clearwater, Florida, it's called (EvansGarden.com). Evan and her husband Kevin handcraft everything and they are patented products. Finding their website was God sent to me. I started using the products several months ago and they work magic. I stop using them for one month and my skin went crazy, so needless to say I started using them again and my skin looks beautiful again!!! I've tried every skincare line out there like everyone else and spent just as much as everyone else thousands of dollars trying to find a line that worked and did what it said it would do. Check out their site and tell them I sent you (Christine King). The starter kit is $30.00. It's 100% toxin-free, pure food for your skin. Much Love to All with CSP, Christine A. King

SOS- thanks so much for the info re the hydrogen peroxide- I had no idea it could possibly cause scarring. I'm getting rid of it immediately- the last thing I want is to make the reminders of what I've done worse!
Also, I just ordered the starter set from evansgarden.com!!! I told them I heard about it from you. I can't wait to get it- hope I have such amazing results too- I'll let you know!

That's so awesome reformedpicker!!!...your such a sweetheart!!!...Please keep me up-to-date with your results...One more thing about Hydrogen Perxiode it's good for some cuts but not on delicate skin...something like it kills the germs but also kills the new skin too, thats why they tell you not to use it on chicken poxs because it causes more scarring. I use to use it on my sores until the doctor told me that it causes more of a scar. Much love & peace Christine (SOS)

thats probably why my skin has been left with more scars than I had wanted...Too bad I didnt know about this before I started to use it religiously for my picking wounds...But Aloe, and those recommended lotions from fellow pickers here, have helped
