I've picked since I was about 8 and I'm 44 now. I've never used Mederma (never heard of it). Can you use it on the scalp, that's the only place I pick but boy it my head ever a mess.  |

Hi Radar:
I am a big scalp picker also, among other places. I found a great, great product that eliminated all my scabs and flakes and makes it really hard to pick.
Its perscription and my husband takes it to clear the flakes in his ear hairs (also mid 40's).
Its called DHS Zinc Shampoo (2%Pyrithione Zinc)
available by calling 800-423-2341.
I don't know about mederma. Sorry.
