hey, does anyone have any ideas, advice, info on how to stop a sore from oozing? I read sumwhere about nickstick for men after theyve shaved but any more ideas at all?? Any tried and tested ideas? Alcohol used to work if i applied a little with a cotton bud but im too scared in case it burns off skin now or something! Kinda desperate!!
Thanks! xx

This may work. Band-Aid has alot of new advances for the healing of sores. Their new Advanced Healing bandages are water and air tight. They also absorb the wounds liquid or seepage and turn it into gel. You keep the band-aid on for several days or more. I haven't tried liquid bandage but this may work as well. Hope this helps!

Liquid bandages (NewSkin) helps some. Mostly applying direct pressure for 10-20 minutes and then leaving it open to the air (without touching it!) for 1 hour usually allows it to dry well.

the oozing (if it's a yellowy color) is lymph from your system trying to kill any kind of infection. It's actually a good thing.
I'm not sure airtight bandaids are a good idea. My mom's a nurse and always said the skin needs to be able to breathe.
I don't think alcohol will mess up your skin but it will sting and dry your skin so only spot treat with it.
