Been waiting for about 8 hours to be approved now, how long does it usually take?

I'm Sian, female, 24 from Wales and have been picking for at least 16 years and am tackling it head on right now and appreciate the value of an online community

Hi I just signed on..... it seems to me that no one checks the approval very much considering that some have been waiting a long time. It would be nice to know that someone is approving of us all. This is a big step for me, considering I get quiet and angry every time my parents talk about my picking problem. My dad doesn't comment about me anymore unless it has to do with my face and how embarrassing I am. I mean I know this, I think about it all the time... but it hurts when you can't get support from your own family.... But hopefully this site will help. I can' t say I've ever tried terribly hard for help. I think now is the time to start.
