Talk yourself out of the bathroom. Be concious of what's going on. Take control. Say to yourself loudly or out loud, "What am I doing in here?" or, "I am getting the hell out of this bathroom"
It really does help. I have talked myself out of starting a session a couple times, it's not to say my body don't try again but you have to keep talking yourself out of it. Find something to do, work on a hobby.
In a book I read it says do something you enjoy for 15 minutes every time you are possesed to do the picking and eventually your body will break from the habit. The chemistry in your brain will be trained to work differently. We are so used to just "go along with the program" let's start a new program one that is healthy and non harmful!!!!!
