Here's a thought....Have you ever noticed how close you are to the mirror when you are examining yourself? I would guess, if you are like me, you are probably scrutinizing yourself from a distance of 1-3" most of the time. Try moving yourself (or the mirror, if you are holding it) back to a "normal" distance of say 12 - 18". What do you know, your pores aren't the size of moon craters after all! This is called perspective. Most people you encounter throughout the day will not get much closer than that to you anyway. Try seeing yourself the way people actually see you, instead of the way you THINK they are seeing you. That little tiny spec that looks so huge when you are standing 1" away from the mirror is invisible at 12".....until you pick it! When you catch yourself zooming in again, step back....you still have a choice.

Elena, You are SO RIGHT! Yes, I have noticed this before. But I just can't keep 'my nose off the glass'! Your suggestion was a good reminder of something I'd both noticed and tried before. I will make another conserted effort to stand back - further away from the mirror. I agree, if I can do this I will have better success at not picking. Thanks for the reminder!!!!

Close ehe? I use a triple magnification mirror. I am pulling out stuff that isn't ready at all to come out. Infact it causes an extreme amout of damage
