Hi everybody, Bravo for taking such a bold approach... Now I don't want to undermine anybody, but I do just want to post a reminder that if you do slip/relapse a bit, the trick is to STAY CALM and get back on the horse right away. Just like when somebody breaks a diet, it doesn't help to be so self-punishing that it seems like ALL IS LOST and you might as well pick and pick and pick (or eat and eat and eat...) This might seem obvious, but it's so easy to get so upset/frustrated with oneself with a Zero Tolerance policy in effect Try to do something to make yourself feel better if you slip up, and then start the ZT right over again. Remember--it's not YOU that's a behavior problem, it's the BEHAVIOR that's the problem. So be kind to yourself, and even when you have Zero Tolerance for the picking, have all the tolerance in the world for yourself as a vulnerable, wonderful human being who deserves all the chances in the world to win the battle. In other words, it's punishment enough to have picked once, let alone picking more to punish yourself for picking once, or because you feel it's "too late" to salvage the ZT rule. The next moment is always created anew. And having to start over sometimes DOESN'T necessarily mean you're back where you started

I don't really have anything to add to this post, but since it didn't get any responses and I think it deserves one, I just want to say that I agree wholeheartedly, Downtimeheals. -H
