Im making this week my official ZT No Pick Week. So far I havent picked today. I made it through a shower without picking...thats insane! Im so happy and thrilled. Plus, now I'll get more sleep. If anyone would care to join me in No Pick Week. Im going right up until Nov. 3rd which would be the end of ZT. I also say we keep ZT going. Another month goal. I cut down my picking in half during this month and Im hoping to do the same next month. I think if we all keep ZT in mind and everyone here on the site, we will be much more capable of beating this. Even if you cut down a little, its still progress. This site has also helped me be more comfortable with myself and my skin. I tend to hang around my room in tank tops and things I'll wear one day. ;D I never did that before. I dont know why, but I feel better now. I realize I have a problem and Im dealing with it and seeing the results of my hard work of keeping my hands off is great! So anyways, Nov. 3rd or Bust! No picking for me!

Okay babe, i'm in. I agree, I now don't care if anyone in my family sees me in a tank or my bra. I never even did that in front of my mom, or walk around in a tank in front of my family, but now, I don't care much. Soon we will be able to dress like that in front of other people too. P.S I saw the pictures of you and Ryan, soooo cute . Sorry if that's inappropiate. I never went to your site but wanted to check it out. Also, I do feel that the site has helped me cut my picking in half, which feels soooo good, and everyone should still try to do another month of ZT. Good luck for the week

OK, I just had to see the picture that Lucy was talking about. It is very cute .....and you are a very pretty girl Incubabe! You and Ryan look very happy together, and he seems like such a great guy and very supportive. Just from reading your posts you really seem to have come a long way in the last few months. Keep it up!!! You are still young, hopefully you will get control over this picking crap before you are 30 like me! I wish there was a web site like this when I was younger.... Starting right this minute I am joining you for the no pick week. I have been doing much better lately. I only have two scabs on my legs, one on my elbow, one on my hand and a few on my back. I got fake nails a week ago Friday and I swear they help! It is so much harder to pick with them. I had fake nails for years but after my son was born I just let them fall off and never had them put back on. I swear my picking got so much worse during that time (not only because of the nails - I wish it was that easy ). I was almost pick-free for 7 years up until then. Much more stress in my life - going to college, getting married, moving, being a wife & mother, working in a stressful environment and my husband losing his job. I feel like I am finally beginning to gain control again. Life isn't always easy but I am learning to make the most of it because this is the only one I have and I don't want to miss out on any more!! We can all do this together, after all we are not just here for ourselves but for each other. Take care. Carree

I have come a long way. We all have. I think ZT has been really good for all of us.
Yea, Ry is the best. I love him so much. He's so awesome. We'll be 2 months on Nov. 4th!!! Yay! ;D
Day 2 of my pick free week...and no picking except for the usually subconscious scratching.

I'll join in on the zt for a week. I think the shorter goals might work better for me. I have cut down on the picking, and even my Husband has noticed a major improvement in my face. That was a big boost for my esteem, so I'm hoping to stick to zt. Working towards Nov. 3rd. Amy

You do deserve praise Ry. Your the best.
Nice to see so many of you joining along. I think I needed a short goal as well. It just seems so much more manageable. Its there...a week away. And I can count the days on my fingers. GL!

Hows everyone doing?? Im hanging in there. I made it through another shower without picking...yay. I found out that I pick because I am bored. I was soo bored last night that I picked off scabs. I didnt want to open any new spots. But I was thinking that it was so stupid because I was soo bored that its like...something "fun" for me to do. LOL

ugh. been soooo hard. I've been massaging and scratching when I think I will pick, which seems to help. I should get some gloves and put them on. I've been keeping myself occupied by building my site. Which takes long but I can't pick while I'm doing it so it's good. Keep up the good work!!! Lucy

Yea. I was messing with my face too last night. But there are only like 2 little red spots. I made sure not to do any damage because I havent been wearing makeup and I dont want to anymore. Ive been picking a little. But to me its still progress. From now until Monday Im not picking at all.

Well, today is 4 November, how did everyone do?
I definitely would've joined your No Pick Week, guys, but I was away from Tuesday-Sunday at a skating competition with my best friend. Sorry I couldn't lend any support!
I, however, had a no-pick week of my own. ;D I haven't touched my face (at ALL) since last Tuesday. We were so busy at the competition (at the arena watching skating from 7:00 in the morning until 11:00 at night) that there simply wasn't time to pick. I think that the change of scenery (even with the super-bright bathroom) helped, and it was also beneficial for me to have my makeup on from the time I got up 'til right before when I went to bed.
Anyway. I'm all for keeping up the ZT indefinitely. Ya'll are such great support that even a month doesn't like that big of a goal. I love that. And I love you guys, too!

Eh, I didnt make the full week. A good portion though. Starting today (Nov. 5th) Im doing a complete ZT. I promised Ryan that I wouldnt pick or cut ever again and I plan on keeping that promise from here on out. I told him to check me everyday, starting Sunday. This will give me time to have any open picks heal up and then I can start completely new. My weakest moment is right before, or after my nighly shower so if anyone can leave me an email during the day telling me not to pick that would be so helpful. Alright, well I need some sleep. Goodluck everyone. Here's to another great month of ZT!
