is something I do to hide my picked skin, usually when i go out or to school ... when it's extra cold, i can wear those beanie hats with the huge ear flaps or heavy winter jackets to hide certain parts of my neck and face ... it sucks when people ask why i'm always wearing one, but it's better than staying home and dwelling over the pain ... in the summer, i also buy light sleevelees hoodies to wear if i go out at night ...
When I do pick at my skin, there's usually nothing there, but it's swells up and hurts ... After I remove the scab, then, usually puss and blood shoot out (sorry for being so graphic). To help alleviate the stress, I dry the wounds quickly with toothpaste or thick make-up. I also have been on medication (Paxil) for a year now, and my behavioral therapist says I have OCD. While I do sometimes see signs of healing, I also get some very low points, and I wish I could go to some type of clinic for like 2 weeks until I'm fully healed. (reminds me of that recent MTV: True Life: I have OCD special. lol . Anyone catch that??)
