well as you could see I have never continued with the 21 csp free days,it got even worse from there. I made the mistake of trying our retin a and putting loads of it on my face, now I have an allergic reaction as well, edema and peeling like a monster! what can I do?

I would go and buy some fresh Aloe Vera gel at a health food store and put some on my face several times a day. This will help your body heal it's self.
Hang in there, it will get better, your skin is an amazing regenerating organism. De

Retin A and other prescription acne products often have side effects at first. You should find out if what you have is actually an allergic reaction or if it's just the normal peeling that comes along with the stuff in the beginning. As far as the edema goes, I've never heard of that happening with Retin A, but I know that the peeling and also reddness is normal when first beginning to use it. I'd ask your dermatologist who prescribed it to you. Edema is swelling right? I'd try using cold compresses and lots of moisturizing. I'm sure it will heal quickly. good luck!
