When I pick my skin, I use my nails, tweezers with a sharp edge etc. Well the other day I was sitting at the table and my two year old son grabbed my tweezers and tried to use them on his neck, and face {my picking places} I almost broke down, my son is watching me do this, and is trying to imitate me. I need to stop I can't have this destroy my son and myself.

Hey, I don't have kids, but I remember watching my mom pick and bite her nails. I started biting my nails at an early age, but I didn't start picking until I was about 10 or 11. We have debated earlier if it is genetic. I think it is. I wish you the best of luck in trying to stop. I haven't stopped completely, but I know it's better since I started behavior-reversal thearapy.
