I'm 34 years old and have been picking on my skin next to my fingernails since I was a teenager. I went to a doctor last week and told the doc everything. I have never done this before. My doc was asking a lot of personal questions and prescribe me 10mg of Lexapro. My doc also told me that later on she would refer me to support group/therapy. I'm happy that I have finally taken the first step about this problem. I'm tired of wearing band-aids and buying neosporin for my fingers.
