Extractions from Aesthetician

Hi, I am new here. Is this website based out of England? Anyway, I have a question. I too, am a face, upper arm, back picker. Didn't even know others did what I did. I have been to hundreds of Derms and had tons of facials. Nobody has every mentioned to me that I had a problem. I thought that most people, who had whiteheads and blackheads picked them to get it out. Otherwise you will just have blackheads staring at you in the mirror. I know I go overboard with picking, scarring myself, spreading the bacterira etc. so I thought I could go to an aethetician and have a facial and let them extract the acne properly. Is that not good for me to do?

I have heard that it is not good in general- unless done by a professional- but I think it is better than what havoc I can play on my face. Some dermatologists will do it- so I just think that there are certain ways of doing it that are less damaging to the pores.
I would go to an esthetician that either works with a dermatologist or that has a great reputation via word of mouth.
I am going in an effort to try to quit picking, but to get the crap out i.e. the blackheads that look back at you!
