Well since you have two days I suggest not trying to cover them at all until you must. Aloe can work wonders, just smear it all over clean skin (don't overwash). Desitin or neosporin are also good bets. I would also like to suggest not putting you life on hold when your skin is in a bad state. Go out grocery shopping or something with no make-up and you will feel how liberating it is to just be yourself. It's ok. Take one tiny little step at a time, and welcome to the boards I have found them tremendously helpful and I hope you will too.

I have some small tips to offer, wish I could be more help- but I am also new here. First of all- if you are like me, you damage large areas and not just one or two small "spots" Thus it can be hard or impossible to "treat" every spot with neosporin etc. What I do is take a nice hot shower, apply some very good lotion, and do so twice in very dry areas, then allow my skin to have fresh air for an hour. This may mean relaxing in a bathrobe or (sorry!) in the buff- just let the air get to your "spots" and dry them out slowly after the lotion. This seems to bring about faster and more "natural" healing for my arms, thighs and face. *shrug*
