I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE WAS INTERESTED IN INVITING DR CLAIBORN BACK TO THIS SITE AND GIVING HIS INPUT AND ANSWERING Q'S U MAY HAVE

HE IS AT THE BDD WEBSITE THAT I POSTED ABOUT IN ANOTHER POST.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO ASK HIM Q'S VISIT THAT SITE.
ITS GREAT.

HE IS AN OCD, BDD, PSYCHOLOGIST...HE SEES PEOPLE WITH SKIN PICKING PROBLEMS...
HE IS VERY NICE AND GENEORUS WITH HIS TIME AND ANSWERS Q'S ON THAT SITE...AND TRIED TO VISIT US HERE..BUT SOMEONE PUSHED HIM AWAY WITH HARSH WORDS.

I THINK IT IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A PSYCHOLOGIST GIVE HIS TIME..WITHOUT GETTING PAID.

Well this issue had already come up and I believe Dr. Claiborn was politely asked to leave. There were some pretty convincing reasons behind it. This is a support board and should be used by people seeking support. It's unprofessional for a psychologist or psychiatrist to give any kind of medical advice to people who aren't seeking it. Also, I personally feel like there's too much commercial interest involved (along the lines of book promotion or something like that, I can't remember what this person actually does).

However, I am curious about the BDD board you have been writing about. can you post the URL? [EDIT: nevermind. I found the link]
