my doctor changed my meds to fluoxetine, which is simalr to prozac. i was really scared about taking it but i did it. and ive had no side effects so far and i feel great. but i still have a fear in the back of my head about the prozac thing

may I ask why you are afraid of prozac? Is it Fluxetine HCl? If I'm not mistaken that is the exact same drug as Prozac. I have taken it before and I did have a couple side effect but not everyone has them I'm sure and it did help me tremendously with impulse control (I was having a hard time with being violent with my family).
It couldn't hurt to keep a diary (for yourself and your physician) of your experience on the drug so that you can bring up concerns if they arise.

i have been on wellbutrin for a while, the doc just added paxil to help my OCD, has anyone else used paxil? can ya tell a difference? thanks

im on Fluxetine and ive been told thats its simalr to prozac. i was scared about taking it becase my mum was on it and thats when she turned on me and im scared ill do the same and be like her. i know it sounds silly but i cant help thinking like that

HI THERE; CAN you guys please let me know if fluoxetine works? I'm a little confused and I really am at the point that I feel that only meds will work-- now it's just a matter of finding the right one. Thanks!
