What do u guys do to prevent blackheads besides squeezing at them? They annoy me more than anything else, especially the ones on my nose. I've tried everything, blackhead clearing scrub, the biore nose strips, but they are still there. Right now I'm using St. Ives medicated apricot scrub because it's very rough and takes the dead skin cells off, which leads to blackheads. I really don't think there's anyway to make them go away, I think it's just something we are gonna have to accept.

I hear that professional facials are supposed to work.

Hi Cinnamonfern!
I got a free sample of those Biore strip thingys a while back. That thing stuck like superglue to my nose but when I pulled it off--darn it all if it didn't have a TON of blackheads and stuff stuck to it.
I wouldn't recommend it if you've got very sensitive skin because it does stick like glue but yeah, it worked great! I was thinking of getting some more at the grocery store next trip out!

Yeah, I've tried the biore strips, and they do get the blackheads out, but the next day they are already back. I got obsessed with them, I was using like 2 a day and it just wasted my money, so I stopped buying them.

Hmmm.... Have you tried, after washing your face, splashing some cool/cold water as a final rinse before before applying moisturizer or makeup? The cold water makes pores close (temporarily) and maybe you could hinder the process a tad? I get them too but it's only noticable to ME if I'm looking in one of those 20x mirrors or something I don't use makeup on my nose either--my skin peels way too easily for some reason and any makeup that's on my nose just tends to look...bad.
