has anyone experienced that healing happens faster by just leaving on the crust and stop putting topical antibiotic? i'm asking cause this morning and other mornings i wake up with a crust over my big big face wound and when i put antibiotic once its ok,,,,later..it starts melting the scab....bleeding....it gets weaker...then i look at it...it drains.....i touch just a bit...or more...
i'm thnking i'm on oral antib...if i leave the scab on and just put antib once only in am and then again only once pm that might be better....cause with the scab...i at least won't touch it.

I find that too much moisture makes it worse. If you let it dry out, at least somewhat, it seems to heal much faster. With too much cream or antibiotic stuff the healing never gets started.
