Love Yourself

Hello all, I decided to start a new post with some positive words my sister emailed me.

Don't hate yourself b/c of what you do. Love Yourself but hate what you do. There is a definite separation. Embrace yourself, love yourself, enjoy yourself and be proud. If you do that, it doesn't leave space for bad things to live.

Obviously the key word is Love. When struggling with something as destructive as skin picking, i think we all need to know we are loved. If we don't feel love from anyone else it's going to be that much harder to love ourselves. Surround yourself with those who love and accept you just the way you are and get rid of those who only drag you down.

Although not likely to solve all your problems, it's a good foundation from which to work from.

That is awesome advice Iceman! Everyone should do that, no matter what problems they may have.

Love this, Iceman. ;D Thanks for posting! It gives me a little perspective on myself. The only person in this world who we can never escape is ourselves. You'd think we'd get to know/like that person a little more...
