New group for pickers working on recovery

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for people who want to work alongside me with a self-help book called The Habit Change Workbook. I started using the book on my own, but I'm getting really lonely and could do with some company, which is why I set up the group, for some support.

The book is all about how to set small, attainable goals and how to achieve them. I like it because it's CSP-friendly with heaps of examples and advice for skin pickers, and I need to use it as a guide for the group to work with, since I'm not a professional therapist, I've been a picker for 45 years. Does that make me the oldest picker on this list? I'm 55.

The book is published by New Harbinger Publications, Inc. in USA, and distributed in USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia and N.Z. I got my copy here in Australia from an alternative health shop, but you could probably order it from any bookstore. The authors are Dr James Claiborn and Cherry Pedrick.

Great to see you there Lucy! At the moment you're a pending member, so you should have received the New Membership Form but you might not have read it yet. I hope this isn't too much of a hassle, but I thought it best to have restricted membership, so you just need to complete the introduction form and return it to my email addy like it tells you to do (don't send it to the Listowner addy that automatically comes up when you click on reply) and then I can let you in.
