Im gonna be 30 next week!!! the day after valentines (our first wedding anniversary) and the next day is my birthday - so I want 3 bunches of flowers please, hubby!  I live in South East wisconsin, but Im from Britain - moved here to get married last year. So glad I found this site. |

Hi everyone, I'm new here. ;D My name's Amber, I'm 18, and I live in Rhode Island (i'm of Lithuanian/French-Canadian heritage). I'm going to university as a French/Political Sciene double major with a minor in Spanish.  I just registered for this board today. I have been a skin-picker for about as long as i can remember. I didn't even know it was a disorder. I just thought it was something that i couldnt control, and never thought to seek help about it, for fear of being ridiculed by other people. My friend Caroline has Trich, and encouraged me to seek help when i told her about my secret. Never told anyone besides her, until today, I decided to tell my boyfriend, and he listened and said he would help me out as much as he could. I'm so glad there is a place like this, I always thought i was the only one who did it. |

Hey. I noticed 2 other people on here from the Pacific Northwest. Yay! I'm 23 and in Oregon. Dont want to say the town because I am still not "out of the closet" about my picking problem.
