I was thinking that the only time I don't pick my skin (or pluck excessively) is when I am camping. I have to give up my place and move to a warmer climate and camp/live outdoors, then I'll be pickfree! (and hairy!)
Just a thought......

Hi! I have totally thought about doing that too! I would like to this year, but instead I'll be convalescing at home after my jaw surgery . Maybe that will help me to stop too! Fay

I agree! When I was a camp counselor, I rarely picked. I lived in a cabin with two other counselors and 20 campers. Absolutely no privacy and little time to look in the mirror. It was on my co-counselor's side and the lighting was one little lightbulb.
Thanks for the smile. -sunshinefunk-

no way! I'd way rather be hairy. I'd love to go camping for a month and never look at my face -- I know it would be all healed then. That would be just lovely! -- and nature is so beautiful. I'd much rather spend my life outdoors, frolicking and romping in the forest, never seeing a mirror and having a beautiful spot-free face. ah. Perfecto.

Don't you ever feel that we hardly pick in the summer time like you guys said you don't pick if you go camping. For me, the reason that I don't pick as much in the summer (i still pick) is because my skin is tan and it's hard to see the blackheads or pimples. I have gone to a tanning bed and burnt my skin in order for my face to be entirely red (so I could tell people that I was sunburned) instead of having red blotches everywhere.
