She has always had a habit of biting her nails, but now she is picking and biting the skin on her fingers!!!!!
I want to stop her before she ends up like me! I'm so afraid that she will mutilate herself the way I have! She won't admit she has a problem when I tell her to stop... I know I'm not setting a good example because I can't stop myself... but I know how bad it can get, and I would do anything to help her.
Maybe I'm blowing this all out of proportion because I am so afraid that she will turn out like me - she's only 12 - close to the age I was when I started.
