Hey everyone, I posted a message on the Support Board a few days ago about my appointment with my counselor and she gave me an idea to help fight the urge to pick. I talked a little about it, but I just thought I'd post the idea here too! I wear a rubberband around my wrist and when I feel the urge to pick, I snap the rubberband on my wrist. Not hard, but enough to feel something. Since doing this I have noticed that it just helps to keep my hands busy, which is really good for me because I tend to just let my hands run wild, but if they are busy playing with a rubberband, then they aren't going to do much damage. I like the rubberbands b/c they are so easy to take places and they're really not that obvious to other people. This technique hasn't made me completely stop, but has helped me cut down on how often I do it. Hope it helps! ;D pickles

Well I am trying the rubber band thing! My only problem is that when I get home from work my son always notices it on my wrist and he wants it .
